Hi, I’m Dr. Peek
I am passionate about all animals! Ever since I was 2 years old I wanted to be a vet. I have been in practice for over 25 years and have enjoyed general practice, shelter medicine and surgery, and now holistic care providing acupuncture, massage and rehabilitation, as well as spinal manipulative therapy. I see patients out of the Wag & Purrs Rehab center in Middleton, WI. I also do home visits for pets with mobility challenges. I have a special place in my heart for the senior pet because of the challenges of getting older. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pet, and I am excited to get started with helping them live a longer, healthier, happier life!

Our beloved 15 year old dog developed a persistent cough last year. Dr.Laurie Peek, who is a long time family friend, quickly became so much more than that during our most difficult time. Her depth of knowledge and caring approach provided us with peace of mind and when routine treatments did not provide any results, she offered us holistic alternatives. She provided acupuncture treatment which calmed and soothed our sweet dog. When traditional meds stopped working, Laurie recommended natural herbal treatments and medicines that were much gentler and more effective without the harsh side effects. I would say, Laurie’s expert guidance was the most important factor in our dog’s quality of life in the last 6 months of his life. She is a true animal lover, a gifted healer and we will forever be grateful to her.
I met Dr. Laurie Peek through my Shelties, she has 2 of my babies. She has become one of the Windmere Shelties family members. After 32 years in the vet profession, I can truly say that she the most animal loving and compassionate vets I have met. She is an amazing and truly caring veterinarian! I have worked as a vet tech/receptionist for 32 years and recently met her through the breeding of my Shelties. I struggled when my beloved older cat was nearing her time. Dr. Laurie Peek offered care where my cat could stay home and have her pain managed. This level of care gave such dignity to my cat’s life and allowed me more time to shower her with all the love I had in my heart. She did pass unafraid, peacefully in her familiar surroundings. I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Peek for guiding me in that direction of care. Dr. Peek has an outstanding level of compassion and caring.
